Jennifer Hatley, NC 8224
I feel so fortunate to be able to touch people's lives
in a positive way through massage therapy. I truly believe in the healing benefits of massage!
I wasn't always a therapist, however. In my former career, I was a middle school teacher! (I definitely
have a first hand understanding of the pain and muscle tension that accompany job related stress!). I am
very proud of the time that I spent with Charlotte's school children, guiding and encouraging them down
the right path. Now, as a massage therapist, I have the opportunity to encourage and educate my clients
on their journey toward greater health!
I graduated from the Massage and Neuromuscular Therapy program at Southeastern Institute here in Charlotte.
This was when my passion for all things massage therapy was ignited! I have become a life-long massage and
bodywork student, and I plan to continually learn and grow as a therapist.
I'm still a teacher at heart and I enjoy taking every opportunity to educate my clients about anatomy,
physiology, and useful self-care techniques that can help extend the benefits of their sessions. I strive
to encourage balance in each of my client's lives by providing massage therapy that not only decreases pain
and muscle tension, but results in relaxation and greater emotional balance.
I hope to help you on your path to health and wellness!

Terry Beale, NC 8819
Hi, my name is Terry Beale and I am a licensed massage and
bodywork therapist. I graduated from Southeastern School of Neuromuscular Therapy in November of 2008. Massage
therapy has become my passion. I am proof of what can happen when you start playing by your own rules and follow
your own intuition. During the last 14 years I have developed a strong corporate background in banking. After
being laid off from the same company twice and adjusting over and over again through one bank merger after another,
I took a look at my life and decided to "do me!" I have always been into relaxation and ambiance. I just didn't
dream that I would actually be able to make a career of it until last year.
I am very caring with my clients and have given over 120 hours of complimentary bodywork. I am trained in Swedish
massage, Deep Tissue Swedish, Reflexology, Reiki I, Aromatherapy, Neuromuscular Therapy and Japanese Zen Facial
Massage.
It is my mission to inspire the human body to heal itself through the power of touch. I have found that until you put
yourself first and take care of you, it gets very hard to take care of others. There is nothing wrong with being
selfish when it comes to your own health and well being. I also believe that massage is not a luxury just for the
rich. We all need to experience the stress relief and health benefits that come with a professional massage treatment.

Russ Shumate, NC 7338
I graduated from The Edmund Morgan School in July of 2007. While in school, I also created a student
tracking system for the school and a portal that allows clinic clients and students to log in and perform
tasks such as scheduling a clinical appointment and taking online assignments. Upon completion of the 650
hour program, I was so motivated to get to work, I obtained my license in a record two weeks after
graduation.
I specialize in the following types of massage: Swedish, Esalen, Hot Stone, Myofascial Release, and
NeuroMuscular. It is my goal to provide all of my clients with outstanding service as I help them
achieve a better quality of life.
I founded Massage Therapy Studios right after graduating. However, I also maintain my position as
President/CEO of Data Access, Inc. People often comment about
the unusual career combination of Massage Therapy and Software Development. I can't say that the two
go hand in hand, but I do have a passion for both. I stay plenty busy with Software Development and I
benefit tremendously from the handful of massage sessions I perform. Massage Therapy is not just a
job for me, rather something I truly enjoy, and I think that comes through in every session.
